We all know that two halves make a whole. Well, so do hundreds, thousands, and millions of pieces. So you, the one reading this, you are part of my wholeness. What will I gain if I limit myself to a deep connection with one soul in world? Whether we've spent years together, shared brief glances, or you only know me in this capacity, each and every one of you influence how I show up and choose to be today. I want to take the time to acknowledge that you are in my life for a reason and I am in yours as a reflection of yourself. Our paths merged at some point to create more cohesion, completion and connection to the idea of oneness. For that, I am excited and grateful for life and everything that exists within this experience!
That is why I am driven to connect. I am compelled to interact with as many people in this world as I can. In doing so, I will unveil deeper aspects of myself. I will create more opportunities in which I can expose the vastness that is ME. I strive to connect with as many people as I can in this lifetime because, in doing so, I expand knowledge of who I am. I am provided with opportunities to remember various aspects of myself that I may not have necessarily seen had my eyes been the only witness. The more connections, the more ME I discover. For every unique encounter I am part of, I experience an additional facet of myself in the expression through another. Without you, I would not know this much of who I am. Without you, I would not be this complete and whole. I am blessed to have this many souls to reconnect me to my fullest, imperfectly perfect self. Thank you for being with me on this journey!

in the "spiritual community" there is a lot of emphasis on focusing on the inner self and not paying attention to the external world. "don't externalize your success and value through others."
if we're all connected and mirrors of each other, doesn't it make sense to listen to and interact with as many other people as we can so we may have more of who we are unlocked and reflected back to us? the internal and external is all the same. if we are only focusing on the inner world, how are we ever going to witness and see other aspects of ourselves that other people offer to us? we remember more about ourselves and reveal more of ourselves through experiencing the external world with our senses. we can observe ourself through our own lens, which is limited. listening to how others view you is allowing yourself to reflect on more of the whole of who you are and provided you with more perspectives of what has the potential of being significant in the world. we're participating in this world together and we are all experiencing different aspects so we may come together to fill in more pieces of the infinite possibilities that exist. when you can extend unconditional love to someone else and realize in that same moment that you possess that same vibration of love for yourself, you have unlocked a secret. why must we focus so much attention on the inner self when EVERYTHING in our external world is a reflection? as long as we are recognizing that we can simultaneously give/show ourselves the exact same feeling that we are so effortlessly giving to another, we are expanding our knowledge of ourselves. we're constantly provided opportunities to receive new information about the inside from the outside. we can recognize success and gifts in others and if we can see that is within us, too, we become more empowered. it amplifies the internal vibratory resonance (IVR) in which we are currently. i suppose a substance/person/circumstance could provide a seemingly "separate" way for us to express outwardly to create distance so we may observe (be reflected back) our state of being (IVR).
it's still something that begins inside and originates from our IVR. nothing can provide relief for us either....substance is one manifestation that provides a view from "outside" ourselves and so it seems easier to allow something other than ourselves to provide relief. (mainly because most of us humans have minimal confidence in being able to support ourselves on all levels---physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.). we're doing all the "work" if we allow ourselves to see it that way and stop giving credit to outside sources for the "good" and take accountability with the "bad" amplifications. 🏻 perhaps you're thinking, "Yes AND external/societal pressures & stress do create a more challenging environment for the human experience/more susceptible to fall into addiction/reach for a bottle, etc. It's at least more difficult if and when the human is less resourced & /or removed from a sense of community and positive support." i do hold the belief more times than not that humans are wired to connect so, in this moment, i agree with the belief that it's more difficult for the human experience to rely solely on their own strengths. I also believe that if we had the confidence in our power to uncover the truth that we lack NOTHING, there is no need for any outside resources/support/anything "outside" ourselves...those are merely distractions we've delusionally thought up, agreed upon and manifested into the physical form in this shared, collective reality. we're super creative because this, in turn, allows more colorful expressions of self to be manifested! woooooo! the latter belief, potentially, defeats the whole purpose and experience of being a human...? I don't care if you believe that the grass is green or people who smoke will develop cancer or resolving all your sins will provide you the opportunity to go to heaven or the placebo effect is a crock of shit or you call yourself a failure when your goal isn't met or fits perfectly into your expectations or love is earned or if the world is some fucked up place full of hate and greed recognize your beliefs, support those in alignment, and reframe the ones that no longer feel good and do it only because you desire to we'll get by just fine and prosper whenever we expose ourselves to the truth that we need no one else's permission outside of our own be you and take pride in your choice of identification because this is all we have |
